What is the best time of day for a photoshoot?

It's hard to say! Often, it depends on the location of the property, the weather, and even the season of year. The sun rises in the east and sets in the west and we don't like to shoot directly facing the sun.

Typically, we get the best results with exterior photoshoots after 12 noon for properties whose main buildings face west. Morning usually works well for east-facing properties. Interior photoshoots do best at a time that does not have direct sunlight pouring through the windows.

Tips for Maximizing Your Exterior Photo Results

☐     Sweep driveways, patios and sidewalks.

☐     Put deck/patio umbrellas up in season and remove barbeque covers

☐     Pool equipment out of the pool and out of sight.

☐     Please close all windows and raise blinds set to the same height.

☐     Mow the lawn, clean up yard debris, and store lawn equipment out of sight.

☐     Trim bushes and trees to show a clear view of the house.
